I am a 19-year-old graduate from last spring and an open university student with a strong interest in society, politics, and sports. Currently, I am serving my fourth term in the local youth council and my first term as chair of the regional organization of the Social Democratic Youth. In addition, I have been and continue to be involved in many activities. In November 2024, I was awarded the Kaarina Medal for distinguished work on behalf of the residents of my hometown. In June, I will begin my duties as the youngest city council member in my hometown!
Alongside all this, I work as a children's instructor and cleaner, and I study political history and political science at the Open University of Turku.
Outside of my various positions of influence, my life is enriched by athletics coaching and many great friends.
It is important to me to promote fair, just, and sustainable politics through my actions, to communicate about decision-making to young people, and to be a voice for youth in places of influence.
I was also a candidate in last April's municipal and regional elections on the SDP list. At that time, I was elected to the city council and gathered votes for the regional elections from 18 different municipalities.
