2021-23 term

My third term began in June 2021.

My greatest achievements this term were completing my moped garage idea and representing the city during the corona pandemic on the social and health committee.

The term began in a difficult life situation for me, and elections could not be organized due to the lack of candidates. On the other hand, I was lucky in an accident, because I would not have thought that I would make it to the youth council for the next term.

During the term, our operations were hampered by the global pandemic, and we could not organize events properly in 2021-22. Fortunately, we managed to get the moped garage through municipal politics and the municipality also hired an employee there. A lot happened towards the end of the term, namely the council granted us the right of initiative in March 2023, the parliamentary election panel and a charity concert on the last day of the term. The concert featured Benjamin Peltonen, Jambo and Band Polaroid, a band consisting of high school students as warm-ups.

In addition to the above, I would have liked to start revising the rules of operation of our youth council, but unfortunately I was not blessed with the opportunity. The youth council's common wish would have also been to promote the replacement of iPads with laptops in our city's middle school.

During the 2021-2023 term, the youth council was chaired by Rasmus Hakala, with Kaarlo Noponen as vice chairmen in 2021-22 and Maia Majabacka as vice chairs in 2022-23. Veeti Lisinen as secretary in 2021-22 and Eino Koskinen as secretary in 2022-23.
